It’s no secret inflation is affecting everyone, including shelters. Over the coming months pets have been surrendered at an alarming rate. Due to overcrowding, resources for food and supplies are limited and shelters are struggling to simply feed their pets. This memorial weekend we’re on a mission to fund 175,000 meals for shelter dogs in need.

Meet Some Of The Pups From The Little Red Dog Shelter:

Virgil is about 2 years old, 77 pounds, house trained, and good with cats & dogs. (Yes, he really is perfect!) He’s so handsome and loves affection. He will need crate rest for a few more weeks as his back legs heal from major surgery after being hit by a car, but once he’s cleared by the vet, he’ll be able to slowly transition into being a puppy dog again!

Ariel is about 3 years old, 65 pounds, and good with other dogs, but looking for a home without cats. She loves people, rolling over for belly rubs, toys, and playing!

Tilt is TLRD’s longest resident–he’s patiently been waiting over two years to find his forever home. He is 8 years young, 85 pounds, house trained, good with other dogs after a proper introduction, however he’s looking for a home without cats. Tilt is a very good boy–he loves going on walks and cuddling on the couch.

We call her Baddie-Mattie! She’s got the perfect amount of sass and when her butt wiggles as she walks…you can’t help but fall in love! Mattie is a 100% purebred Old English Bulldog (we did a DNA test). She’s about 2 years old, 57 pounds, house trained, selective with other dogs, and would prefer a home without cats. Her favorite things: plushy toys, pig ears, walks and chillin with her hoomans.

Spartacus is a gorgeous Rottweiler who is about 2 years old, 95 pounds, house trained, and good with other dogs after a proper introduction. He is selective with cats–he’s currently with a kitty in his foster home and ignores her unless she’s on his foster mama’s lap–Spartacus doesn’t like that. He loves affection, cuddling, and going on walks!
